God sees our hearts and thoughts. So what you need is an earnest, sincere, honest, diligent heart seeking God. So, If you don't believe in Jesus Christ or God, you only need to pray this with all your heart:
"If you are truly there God or Jesus, make me realize that I am a sinner and lead me to repentance."
