With the issue regarding the Anti-Terror Law Act, Filipinos have been deprived of liberal rights—mostly their freedom of speech. How can an individual voice out their concerns without being pinpointed as a terrorist merely for criticizing their government? One way I can think of in order to express our freedom is by fighting for our rights as citizens of this country. If we continue to let this kind of oppression happen, not only will the citizens suffer, but also the country itself as it will be mislead by unworthy government members into anomaly, corruption, injustice system, and other things that deprive human rights.
