As a student, I would protect myself from cybercrime by being smart online. There are various types of cybercrime and sometimes, we might not know that we're already being a prey of it.
The common ones among teenagers are online impersonation, cyberbullying and online harassment. These can be prevented by not sharing too much personal informations and problems in social media sites.
To prevent being a prey on crimes such as scams, I will be careful with the sites I click and use services only from verified websites. Installing VPN can also prevent our gadgets from being hacked and stracked. It can ptotect our privacy from anyone trying to spy on us.
