The basic unit in society traditionally consisting of two parents rearing their children. 8. Its purpose is to provide for the fullest possible development of each learner for living morally, creatively, and productively in a democratic society, 9. It is a social unit with commonality such as norms, religion, values, customs, or identity, 10. Its purpose is basically to serve individuals' needs for survival. It is way of harnessing the resources and abilities of others in order to increase individuals' chances of survival and improve individuals' quality of life.
