- When I was in my elementary years,I used to hate math. I joined all the competitions in our school and other districts about math but always disappointed in the end. I am the one our my team that is usually removed because of my scores (i am the lowest). My grades in math is not that high like others, It is just playing in 90 or 91. I hate math when i was younger because of the problems that is too hard for me to solve.I have a mom that is there for me to help but I don't understand well. I know that i am not good enough to compete at others. After my graduation, I know that it is summer that time and my friends are always playing outside. I want to play with them but I used to study mathematics that time.I have a sister that is good in math and she taught me about the basics in algebra (for preparation in highschool) I don't understand all of it and she always yell infront of me. She says that basic operations in math you didn't know well? How come that you are joining math competitions when you cannot mental operations on easy numbers. I cried everyday and wanted to quit learning about math. Expectations of my parents are too high and I cannot reached what they wanted. I did not quit and I choose to study harder and harder. I can say that I am good at mathemathics right now because I gained a lot of medals in mathematics in my highschool days. I won a trophies in Math Competitions. I am always best in math in our class. I am not boasting my rewards but I am just sharing this for you to used it as an inspiration to become successful. Hindrance about math is yourself. You cannot learn and love math if you don't have a trust in yourself that you can solve it. Determination ,A lot of Practice, Attitude and sacrifice will lead to success. Math is not complicated actually but the one that is complicated is your mentallity. When math class many people says that it is hard because they do not have a confidence.
