Direction: Do the following activities:
A. Try to make new products from used materials. You can reuse some of the
materials to lessen the expenses and earn more profit. Follow the procedures
below to make as simple plant pot using empty plastic bottles.
1. Collect used plastic bottles and wash them thoroughly. Prepare the following
materials: knife, pair of scissors, sandpaper, nail, indoor plant
2. Use a knife to score around the bottle. Cut the bottle into half and continue

cutting around the bottle using a pair of scissors.
(Note: Be careful in using sharp objects.)
3. Using a small piece of sandpaper, smoothen the newly cut edge of the bottle.
4. Using an iron nail, carefully makes holes at the bottom of the bottle. (You can
heat the edge of the nail and ask for your teacher's assistance to cut the
holes.)
5. Decorate the pot and plant an indoor plant afterwards.
