CHARACTERISTICS
1.) P-waves - P-waves are primary waves and are so much faster than S-waves. P waves mainly travels through any sort of medium, whether it is a solid, liquid or gas.
2.) S-waves - S-waves on the other hand are known as secondary waves and much more slower compare to P-waves. S waves only travels through solids and usually stops to a halt when it reaches liquids and gases.
