Answer:
Motion media spells out moving pictures, videos, movies…technology. In my opinion, motion media makes learning more comprehensive and fun, primarily because tehcnology has become part of daily human activities, and second, because the rapid changes of the digital world only makes it more challenging and interesting for us. It serves not only to inform, but to entertain the audience and to enhance imagination. Personally speaking, great motion media can also influence the emotional side of a learner. The background music, the pace of the video, the people in it comprises the whole package. Aside from that, I do agree with all the advantages of motion media listed in the hand outs and those are similar implications I would want to mention. It generally encompasses most of the objectives we would want from any instructional media thus I think motion media would be a great instructional material. With this in mind, motion media will change the way we teach. Teachers would gradually divert from the traditional blackboards and textbooks and incorporate the diverse use of motion media into teaching. Although motion media can be very convenient, I would like to hope that teachers would not heavily depend on these to present the lesson and leave the learning process between media and students. Secondly, teachers should be responsible enough to review the material before presenting it to class as motion media today is very easy to upload and reproduce and unlikely scenes may pop out of nowhere. Lastly, motion media is not solely for entertainment purposes, so I am hoping that teachers would and can relate it to their subject matter. It should be relevant and up-to-date for it to be useful for students.
