Sagot :
GRAVITY
Why do objects that are thrown up, come down?
ANSWER
I know this may sound lame and cliché, but objects actually come down again after being thrown upward, because of the gravity of the Earth.
HOW?
The Earth has very immense gravity and inertia, like all objects on the planet including humans also have inertia, but we, along with all objects on the planet are being pulled to the center of the Earth due to the planet's gravity, since it is so massive and has very great pull of attraction.
Earth generates immense pull of gravity because of its combined mass (gravity is directly proportional to mass). Earth is so massive that it pulls all smaller bodies toward its center. That is why moon is attached to the Earth, just like Earth being bound to Sun's gravity.
