MANILA, Philippines - Inanunsyo kahapon ng Department of Education (DepEd) na sa Oktubre 5, 2020 na ang pagbubukas ng klase sa pribado at pampublikong paaralan sa bansa sa halip na Agosto 24.
Ayon kay DepEd Sec. Leonor Briones, batay ito sa natanggap nilang memorandum mula sa tanggapan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
"As per the memorandum of the President, he has given approval to the recommendation of DepEd. Thus, we will now implement such a decision to defer the school opening to October 5 pursuant to Republic Act No. 11480," wika ni Briones
