How does sea breeze and land breeze affects the earth's climate??

Sagot :

Although most prevalent on the sea coastline, land breezes and sea breezes are also often recorded near large bodies of water (e.g., the Great Lakes). In general, land breezes and sea breezes result in elevated humidity levels, high precipitation, and temperature moderation in coastal areas.

HOW DOES SEA BREEZE AND LAND BREEZE AFFECT THE EARTH'S CLIMATE?

SEA BREEZE

Sea breeze, a wind that blows from the body of water (particularly ocean) towards land. It affects the climate because the water heats much more slowly than land. So the air will become more warmer compared to the ocean. The warm air will rise over the land throughout the day (causing to low pressure at the surface).

LAND BREEZE

Land Breeze often winds at local nighttime and early morning (occurs at coasts and offshore). When the sea surfaces is warmer than adjacent land, it arises at sunset (due to the land having a lower heat capacity and it's cooling off faster.)

REMEMBER:

Land Breeze is a breeze that blows from the land towards the sea (usually after sunset or night).

Sea Breeze is a breeze that blows from the ocean towards the land. Also, sea breeze occurs during the day.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!
