In GEMDAS RULE,interpret, and explain how to solve,15(2(10-5)+32)-16/2 to the power of three

Sagot :

G- grouping expression like braces, bracket, parenthesis
E- exponent
M- ultiplication
D-division
A-ddition
S-ubtraction

Lets solve:
15(2(10-5)+32)-16/2^3

First solve the parenthesis
15(2(5)+32)-16^3

Simplify parenthesis again
15(10+32)-16/2^3
15(42)-16/2^3
630-16/2^3

So we need to solve the exponent which is:
16/2^3 (simplify fractions into whole number because it is divisible by 2 so it was 8, then multiply by itself three times.
=8^3 (multiply 8 by itself in 3 times)
=512

So:
630-512 =118

So the answer is 118.
