Sunlight is the main source of visible light which enters the Earth's atmosphere. Together with this visible light is heat. This heat will be absorb in Earth surface specially if there are a lot of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases will absorbed the heat increasing the temperature in the atmosphere and the surface of the earth. This heat absorption will result to ice melting in Antarctica, Greenland and Alaska. This are natural process but the problem will be the production of too much greenhouse gases from human activities which again lead to global warming and environmental destruction.
