- The nature of roots is used to describe the roots of equation given.
There are 4 types of nature of roots;
- Real, Rational and Equal- the discriminant is equal to zero.
- Real, Rational and Unequal- the discriminant is greater than to zero and it is a perfect square.
- Real, Irrational and Unequal- the discriminant is greater than to zero but not a perfect square.
- Not real- the discriminant is a negatice number.
