No asta is a normal human with a mutation, it's just that he was not born with the flow of mana inside his body making him mana-less, that's why he could never do magic. ... Since anti-magic nullifies and destroys normal magic and mana, no normal mage could wield asta's swords which are his source of anti-magic.
