- Gender Prejudice - a male softball coach at a Baltimore school was replaced despite satisfactory performance after being told that the school had a preference for female leadership.
- Ethnic/Race Prejudice - being refused a job or apartment, simply because of overt bias towards them based on race and related grounds.
- Sexual Orientation - People who are heterosexual are romantically and physically attracted to members of the opposite sex. They are sometimes called "straight."
- Age Prejudice - your employer refuses to allow you to do a training course because she thinks you are 'too old', but allows younger colleagues to do the training.
- Class Prejudice - Middle-class and owning- or ruling-class people are seen as smarter and more articulate than working-class and poor people.
