In my own opinion teenage pregnancy usually happened in this generation. It happened because of lack of parental guidance and role models in the village. Most of them were influenced by their peers who fell pregnant at an early age and were ignorant about contraceptives. Early pregnancy could affect the mother and baby because teens are at a higher risk for pregnancy-related high blood pressure (preeclampsia) and its complications than average age mothers. Risks for the baby include premature birth and low birth weight. Preeclampsia can also harm the kidneys or even be fatal for mother or baby. To prevent this issue we must not forget to give lessons in our children and do not just let them do what they want to do because even they are already on an illegal age they still need the guidance of there parents.
