Technical writing is the process of writing or drafting technical correspondence for use in technical and occupational fields like computer hardware and software, engineering, chemistry, aeronautics, robotics, banking, medical, consumer electronics, biotechnology, and forestry.
Technical writing is a form of writing in which the author addresses a specific topic that needs guidance, instruction, or description. Other writing styles, such as creative writing, scholarly writing, and business writing, have somewhat different purposes and characteristics than this type of writing.
