Troposphere
The troposphere is the lowest layer of Earth's atmosphere. Most of the mass (about 75-80%) of the atmosphere is in the troposphere. Most types of clouds are found in the troposphere, and almost all weather occurs within this layer.

The stratosphere is the second major layer of Earth's atmosphere, just above the troposphere, and below the mesosphere
Thermosphere
The thermosphere is the layer in the Earth's atmosphere directly above the mesosphere and below the exosphere. Within this layer of the atmosphere, ultraviolet radiation causes photoionization/photodissociation of molecules, creating ions; the thermosphere thus constitutes the larger part of the ionosphere.
Exosphere
The exosphere is the outermost layer of the Earth's atmosphere. It starts at an altitude of about 500 km and goes out to about 10,000 km. Within this region particles of atmosphere can travel for hundreds of kilometers in a ballistic trajectory before bumping into any other particles of the atmosphere

Tropophere - The troposphere is by far the wettest layer of the atmosphere; all of the layers above contain very little moisture. The bottom of the troposphere is at Earth's surface. The troposphere extends upward to about 10 km (6.2 miles or about 33,000 feet) above sea level.
Stratosphere - The stratosphere is a very calm & stable layer unlike the troposphere, which is a turbulent layer. This layer is calm and stable because of the absence of any vertical air currents. The reason for this is that the vertical air current flows from the warmer (lower ) layer to the colder (upper) layer
Mesosphere - The main characteristics of the mesosphere are its strong winds that go from east to west, the different atmospheric tides, the waves of atmospheric gravity that are inside, generally known as gravity waves, and finally its planetary waves.
Thermosphere - The thermosphere is very high above the Earth and is distinguished by an increase in temperature with altitude. The density of the air is extremely low, but the activity of the molecules are very high due to the amount of energy they are receiving from the sun. Individual molecules can be as warm as 2000 degrees C.
Exosphere - Some gases found in this layer can escape and go to outer space because of the small amount of gravity that is in it.
