so we're just going to multiply the two functions together:
(3x-4)(2x+5)
Then we multiply the two expressions together. I'm going to use the FOIL method, because it's what I'm the most comfortable with, but anything that lets you get it done is fine:
6x2+15x-6x-20x
Then we just combine like terms:
6x2+9x-20
If we need to check our work we can factor it out and we'll get both of the same terms.
