[tex]\huge\sf\red{Direction:}[/tex]
- Using the diagram below compare and contrast between saturated and unsaturated solution write the similarities at the center of the diagram and their differences in both sides of diagram.
[tex]\huge\sf\red{Answer:}[/tex]
SATURATED:
- At a certain temperature and pressure, a solution is incapable of absorbing or dissolving any more of a solute. There are no double or triple bonds between carbon atoms in an organic complex.
- A saturated solution is a chemical solution that contains the highest concentration of dissolved solute in the solvent.
SUPERSATURATED:
- When the concentration of a solute surpasses the concentration determined by the value equilibrium solubility, supersaturation occurs in a chemical solution. The term is most usually used to describe a solid in a liquid solution.
- A supersaturated solution is one that has more dissolved solute than the solvent can normally dissolve.
