I have realized that textual aids like non-linear text and graphic organizer can help us a lot. Especially when reading a myth like Daedalus and Icarus, with the different graphic organizers used, I was able to understand the flow of the story. The effects of textual aids for me in understanding a text are; they give emphasis on what should be focused on. It helps student understand and comprehend any story, subject or topic.
