At different times in their careers most artists are faced with questioning thoughts about the value of their art. Not me money value (though that is important to get a grip on!) but the inherent value to humanity. High-profile artists are, I am sure, not immune to these questionings, but here I'll talk from the viewpoint of a local artist.
