= 14/25
Solution:
Reduce 9 & 18 with the greatest common factor 9.
7 × 2/25
Multiply 7 & 2,
7 × 2 = 14
The Denominator will remain the same.
= 14/25
3. 8/15 × 9/24
= 1/5
Solution:
Reduce 8 & 24 with the greatest common factor 8.
1/15 × 9/3
Reduce 15 & 9 with the greatest common factor 3.
1/5 × 3/3
Divide 3 & 3, that will become 1, but you don't have to put '1' beside it so it will be just,
= 1/5
4. 9/16 × 6/9
= 3/8
Solution:
Cancel 9 & 9, it will become,
1/16 × 6
Now, cancel 16 & 6 from the given fraction and it will become like this,
1/8 × 3
Calculate the product 1 & 3,
1 × 3 = 3
= 3/8
5. 18/25 × 8/27
= 16/75
Solution:
Reduce 18 & 27 with the greatest common factor 9.
2/25 × 8/3
Multiply the fractions
2 × 8 = 16
25 × 3 = 75
= 16/75
