Every culture is filled with symbols or stuff that stands for something else and often evokes different emotions and reactions. In fact, some symbols are nonverbal communication types , while others are actually materially objects. A common one is to shake hands , in some societies , but not in others.It is commonly used as a sign of friendship and as a sign of greeting or expression.

2. Language

Language is important for interaction and therefore, for the culture of any society. Children learn language from their culture as they learn how to shake hands, gestures and the meaning of the flag and other symbols. Human beings have a language ability that no other species of animal have. In addition, our ability to speak language helps to make our diverse culture possible.

3. Norms

Culture vary widely in their standards , or behavioral standards and expectations. Standards are often classified into two groups , formal standards and non formal. Formal norms are also known mores and rules refer to behavioral standards that are considered o be the most relevant in any society. Informal norms are also known as folk and traditions.

4. Rituals

Different cultures also have different practices or procedures and ceremonies formed that often mark changes in the course of life. As such, rituals embody and transfer from one generation to the next the standards of a society and other elements. Initiation and beginning ceremonies are familiar examples of time-honored rituals in college and universities.

5. Arts

This includes visual arts, creative arts and performing arts , including music , theater,dance, spoken word and film.

6. Food

An important part of national identity and cultural heritage. It can bind people and places, put friends and families together, and eating habits like putting all the food on your plate differ across the globe.

7. Daily Life

A culture of proactive behaviors that embody differences and implement them. These embodies differences are a site of struggle between the measured individuals that make social discipline and differences produced by popularity that fill and extend people's space and power.

8. Government

Cultural policy is the government's actions, laws and programs that regulate , protect, encourage and financially supports arts and creative activities.
