although there are differences between modern and contemporary literature, or traditional or 21st literature, there is still similarity between the two. since both are forms literature, no matter the era, these expressions tackle something universal about the human condition, whether love, war, betrayal, respect, goodness, or justice. all literature captures a certain glimpse of life in the humanity.
