Indonesia
ART DESCRIPTIONS - Examples of Indonesian textiles includes batik from Java, to songket and ikat developed in many parts of the archipelago. Batik, which is an art of wax-resist dyeing which creates intricate motifs, was elevated as a national artform—a national costume of Indonesia, which transcends Indonesian ethnic groups.
ART INFLUENCES-Indonesian art has been shaped by interaction between indigenous customs and foreign influences, including Hinduism , Buddhism , and Islam . Indonesian painting before the 19th century was mostly restricted to the decorative arts, considered to be a religious and spiritual activities.

ARTDESCRIPTIONS-Singapore's art was mostly based on the Nanyang art influences. Nanyang is the type of artistic expression, using Chinese forms and techniques but applied to different cultures. The earliest form of Nanyang art were of the Bali paintings rendered by Chinese artists.
ART INFLUENCES-The Chinese culture has significantly influenced the country's art form. The Chinese immigrants to the city state brought with them China's calligraphy, porcelain and sculptures. Singapore's art was mostly based on the Nanyang art influences.
Thailand
ART DESCRIPTIONS-Traditional Thai art and craft ranges from paintings and musical instruments to beautiful silk, silver wear, pottery, puppets, Khon masks, model warships, bronze wear, soap carving, sculptures, wood and stone carvings, ceramics and much more. ART INFLUENCES-Thai art was influenced by indigenous civilizations of the Mon and Khmer. By the Sukothai and Ayutthaya period, thai had developed into its own unique style and was later further influenced by the other Asian styles, mostly by Sri Lankan and Chinese.
