2. If I were also a scientist during the time of Alfred Wegener, where he proposed his “continental drift theory”. I would surely be having a hard time believing his claims and theories and very much skeptical about it.
Because “impossible things that are really possible” are very hard to believe at first, like the “gravity” when Isaac Newton first discovered it, many people would really thing you are mad and out of your mind, for presenting such insane discoveries, because this is something out of the blue.
But of course, as the time goes by, and more and more evidences are being presented by Alfred Wegener, like the shape of continents that actually fits when you try to put them together like puzzle pieces, the coal deposits found in Antartica then start to make sense and I would be very much convinced of the theory of Wegener after learning about these evidences.
