As the population of the world increases dramatically over the last 100 yrs so the value of human liveshas increased rather than decreasd.
God imputes value to us humans, and we also value ourselves. Thus, our valuation is not subject to crude economic definitions such as according to “supply and demand”.
So as the human population increases, every human life remains just as immensely valuable and sacred, as it was before, while the value of the entire population becomes even more and more precious, as there are more sacred and beautiful people living.
This is a profound philosophical reason why I strongly believe that even though the world population is huge now, that we should not use birth control, and that we humans really should continue on multiplying, even as if we were not already so huge in our numbers.
