Explanation:

Skin is the part that protects the outer layer of the body from any kind of element.

It composes of 3 major parts which are;

1. Epidermis

2. Dermis

3. Hypodermis

*EPIDERMIS is the only part of the skin which is visible to the human eye, thin, and located at the outer layer.

It covers and protects the body's internal parts.

This is the only part of the skin that does not have any form of blood vessels and it only depends on the layer located

underneath of it which is the Dermis.

*DERMIS is the second layer located just underneath Epidermis and thicker than it.

It is also located just above the subcutaneous tissue or also called hypodermis.

Its main role is to regulate body temperature and provide blood to the epidermis. It is also notable that it has the body's water supply.

The Dermis has 2 different sections:

1. Papillary Dermis- the upper and thin layer

2. Reticular dermis- the thick and lower layer, the thickness depends on the body part such as eyelids which

has a thickness of 0.6 millimeters.

*HAIR FOLLICLES

is a structure found in the outer layer of the skin or Epidermis. The bottom part of it is the root or growing source of human hair. every time there is a cell production it makes the hair grows out of the skin until it reached a surface.

*SEBACEOUS

Is a type of gland that can be found in hair follicles. It is responsible for nourishing the hair and skin since it helps in producing the oil in the hair follicles.
