Arrange the following steps from 1-10 according to their proper order. ____ Hold in place using the stage clips. ____ Place the mounted specimen on the stage. ____ With both eyes open, look with one eye through the eyepiece. ____ Set the LPO in line with the eyepiece. Open the iris diaphragm. ____ To focus under HPO, turn the revolving nosepiece slowly to shift from LPO to HPO. ____ Adjust the mirror so that it faces the light source; then set it at an angle to reflect light towards the stage. ____ With your eye on the eyepiece, move the fine adjustment knob on a clockwise direction until the specimen comes into focus. ____ Slowly turn the coarse adjustment knob counterclockwise to raise the objective until the image of the object comes into clear focus. ____ Look through the eyepiece, if the specimen is not in clear focus, lower the HPO slowly and carefully until it almost touches the slide. ____ While looking at the side of microscope, carefully turn clockwise the coarse adjustment knob to lower the body tube until the LPO is about 1 mm from the specimen.​
