I agree on the "Freedom makes us responsible of our acts" this is true, from the word "FREEDOM" you're free to do anything that you want however you must take responsibility of what you're doing.
I disagree on "As long as we are aware of it" aware or not you must take responsibility of what you're doing, because "FREEDOM (real)" means you're doing what you want without anyone forcing nor stopping you, so no everything you do whether you are aware of it or not you must take responsibility on what you've done (especially if that t'was really your OWN choice).
