Answer:
1. SHU-LIANG HE- Confucius's father, Shu-liang He, had been a warrior and served as a district steward in Lu, but he was already an old man when Confucius was born.
2. KONG LI- Kong He died when Confucius was three years old, and Confucius was raised by his mother Yan Zhengzai (顏徵在) in poverty. His mother later died at less than 40 years of age. At age 19 he married Qiguan (亓官), and a year later the couple had their first child, their son Kong Li (孔鯉).
3. FILIAL PIETY- Filial piety is regarded as the most important Confucian duty. Confucian filial piety encourages the younger generation to follow the teachings of elders and for elders to teach the young their duties and manners.
4. THE ANALECTS- Confucius's teachings were later turned into an elaborate set of rules and practices by his numerous disciples and followers, who organized his teachings into the Analects.
5. BEING POLITE AND BEING NICE- Aside from being polite, it shows a level of gratitude and appreciation which are both part of respecting your parents. Watch your language. Be careful about the topics of conversations and your word choice around your parents. Parents always think of their children as their babies (regardless of how old they are).
