B. Unemployment Increased: As more companies became bankrupt, more employees had to be retrenched to cut losses resulting in the increased of unemployed individuals.
COVID-19 brought a lot of changes to every person's lives. It is something that no one was able to prepare for. It literally shocked the entire world when a lot of countries announced that they would be closing their boundaries until the news about the lockdown came out.
But what literally shocked everyone is when some big companies started to announce that they will be removing some of their employees to lessen the loss on their side since their businesses were also affected by the pandemic.
Because of this heartbreaking news especially to the families who have received it, life became more tough to survive. They lost their job during the time wherein it is also much harder to find another one.
