Learning Task 4: Bias and prejudice are all around you though you might not be conscious of them.This is because you have certain filters that make you see the world in a certain way.This has begun at an early stage of your life which you continue to carry at present as long as you do not change your perspective on things for the better. If you are going to explain the concept of bias and prejudice to someone younger than you and how these two may affect their relationships with others,how would you do it?
Bias and prejudice, or simply ignorance, can lead to isolation, vulnerability, disadvantage and discrimination at school, at work, in stores and other services, or even where people live.
