1. The storm was very strong. The rain began early in the morning. It fell as hard drops, one after another. The sky was full of gray, dark clouds. Thunder began as a soft rumble and become louder and louder. Lightning crashed every few minutes making the sky a brilliant white.
2. Hurricanes are large storms. They begin over the ocean. They gather heat and energy from the water. Hurricanes move slowly to land as they grew stronger. Hurricanes are dangerous because of the high winds and big waves. It can bring so much destroyer on properties, power outages and even death.
