Change = Original amount - cost of rubber shoes - cost of jogging pants

Cost of rubber shoes = 3,000x(1-%discount) =3000x(1-15%)

=3000x85%

=3000x0.85

=2550

Cost of jogging pants = 1200x(1-%discount) = 1200x(1-40%)

= 1200x60%

= 1200x0.6

= 720

Change = 14,000 - 2,550 - 720

Change = P10,730

The change is more than enough to buy a P500 t-shirt.
