In my own opinion, I don't think that we filipinos have fully accepted gender norms but I can say that little by little the people on our country are starting to open their minds about this certain issue that is going on, and even if we filipinos are known to be very religious people, we are starting to accept, acknowledge and promote equal rights not just to lesbians but also to other parts of the lgbt community.
