One doesn’t have to be a sociologist or political scientist to observe the reality. In fact, being a sociologist or political scientist may blind you to reality. Humans are social animals and depend on relationships. From the family, to the village, to society as a whole, the dynamic of the social system is a two-way symbiotic relationship between individuals and community. Masking and social distancing break the bonds between the individual and the community which is the primary dynamic of society.
