1. Teams must consist of eight players on the court at one time. 2. Dodgeball is primarily self-refereed, and played with the honor rules. 3. You are not out if you step on or over a sideline or centerline. 4. You can only hold a ball for 5 seconds, afterwards, it will be considered dead. 5. A player is eliminated if he/she blocks another ball and drops his/her own ball. 6. You are eliminated if you avoid stepping over the center line . 7. A person who holds the ball for at least 15 seconds straight stays in the game. 8. A player is penalized with an "out" when he/she hits another player in the head with the ball. 9. A "dead" if it hits things or people that are not playing the game. 10. A game ends when all the players of one team are eliminated.
