What are your realizations when you read about the Parable of the Net?

Sagot :

Explanation:

I realized in the parable of the net, found in Matthew 13:47-50, is that it talks about the time of judgement. The time will come when God will put an end to all our wickedness. Jesus said in

Matthew 13:47-50 (KJV) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind. When it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

So shall it be at the end of the world: The angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just and will cast them into the furnace of fire, where they will weep and gnash their teeth."

God will gather us all like a fish gathered in a net, but God will be going to separate the righteous and the wicked.

The wicked are those who didn't believe in God, those who did not accept Christ as their personal saviour, and those who lived apart from him, as stated in Matthew 13:50. They will be thrown into the lake of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The righteous are those whose names are written in the book of life. Those who accepted Christ as their personal Lord and lived for Jesus. Those who have lived a holy and righteous life will spend eternity with God.

I realized that someday the world's wickedness will end. Because God, who is holy and righteous, will put everything to an end. And by that time, everyone will beg for his mercy, but it will be too late for them.

Accept Jesus as your personal savior while there is still time, believing that He is the only way to Heaven and the only one who can save you from hell, not your works, religion, or anything else.
