If ever this happened to me, I will rather respect the decision and refusal of my neighbor. I will not get mad but I will apologize for giving pork adobo as a welcome gift. Instead of getting mad, I will cook chicken adobo because I know that she will accept it as it doesn't violate their tradition as a muslim.
