I don't really know things about love but you can tell that a person is not interested in you when they are not attentive in what you're saying, they ignore or avoid you, they make excuses often, they don't open to you anymore or doesn't want to talk with you.
Look into their eyes and you will see if he/she is truly happy with your company. It can't lie. I had encountered it myself :(
