How will you differentiate the occurrence of heat through conduction, convection, and radiation?

Sagot :

Answer:

Heat energy is transferred from a point of high temperature to a point of lower temperature. This process occurs through conduction, convection, or radiation. In conduction, heat is generated as it goes from the hot water to the mental spoons. Convection is the process wherein thermal energy is transmitted from one material to another by the movement of heated particles of a fluid(i.e., liquid or gas). Radiation is the transfer of thermal energy by electromagnetic (EM) waves. As mentioned in the previous chapter, EM waves are produced through the vibration of charged particles and take many forms-from infrared waves to gamma rays. Examples of EM waves are the ultraviolet(UV) waves and visible light, which both come from the sun.
