She found these passions through public service projects with children in the neighborhoods of Roxbury, MA and the South Bronx, NY and further explored them through her concentrations of Sociology and Ethnicity, Migration, and Human Rights. As a Los Angeles native, Jasmin is excited to return to the great state of California to teach World History at LPS Oakland. She dreams of helping to empower students individually and communally to think critically about the world and recognize/confidently pursue their greatest personal, educational, and professional dreams.
